Take a moment to breathe in fresh wave of possibilities as the New Year 2010 begins. Ripples from the recent and powerful full moon in Cancer/lunar eclipse generating tingles in the emotional body. Here comes a pocket or space to relax for about two weeks or so before the next round rocks the airwaves. Capricorn is highlighted this month with a major Solar Eclipse in its sign. Grounding our vision, being practical with our resources and striving for excellence are some of the main themes.
The march of planetary shifts begins on January 13th when Saturn in Libra at 4degs. marks its retrograde phase for the next five months. Hold on to your hats and seat belts because the next celestial sparkle is super-amplified New Moon in Capricorn/Solar Eclipse on January 15th. In addition, and on the same day Mercury in Capricorn at 5 deg. clicking and shifting gears into Direct/Forward motion after the last three weeks in introspective phase. Can you say charged up?! Now for the bigger than life planetary shift, well symbolically of course is Jupiter enters Pisces on January 17th. This is lovely news for Pisces or people with planet in the sign of Pisces. Expansion and broadening the horizons is on the forefront here.
On January 17th and 18th Venus and the Sun enter the sign of Aquarius. Experimenting with unusual or far outside the conventional box is strongly highlighted as is being open minded and progressive in ideas. Interactions with others take on a social, friendly and chatty tone. If you like surprises, be open to out of the blue situations to rock the status quo.
As we near the middle of the month, we have the next round of Saturn(Libra)/Pluto(Capricorn) square at 4 deg happening. Cardinal signs could feel like a salad being tossed around. Many will feel the Saturn/Pluto intensity all month in waves. It can be dynamic or you can feel highly frustrated if you resist. A prompting that serious, letting go, transformation and/or change must happen so harmony can be restored. We do end the month with a Full Moon in the sign of royal, regal and dramatic flair of Leo.
